Community Involvement

    Susan is committed to being socially responsible. Giving back to her community is just as important as business to Susan. She serves on the board of many non for profit organizations in her personal life.

    Town of Mamaroneck Board of Assessment Review - Board Member

    The Board receives tax grievances and determines fair assessment of an individual property.

    Educating Canines Assisting Disabilities (ECAD) - Board of Directors and Member

    Working with a team of people passionate about helping veterans and children with autism. Raising funds to provide trained canines to assist with veterans with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) and Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI).

    The Town Of Mamaroneck Drug Culture Committee - Board Member

    Coordinating with the Mayor of Mamaroneck, District Attorney of Westchester, Police Officers, Larchmont/Mamaroneck Elementary Schools, Middle School and High School, Parents,and Students in the Larchmont/Mamaroneck Community to stop the epidemic of opioid, heroine, drugs and alcohol overdoses.

    The Delta Society - Working with her dog as a Therapy Dog

    Extremely rewarding; providing unconditional love and warmth to children and adults in pediatric wards at hospitals, nursing homes and jails.

    Radar (Responsible Action Drug and Alcohol Resource) - Board Member

    A coalition in Larchmont and Mamaroneck Communities to help prevent drug and alcohol use by teenagers and raise awareness for parents.

    At Home On The Sound

    At Home on the Sound is a grassroots, non-profit organization that provides members with the assistance they need to continue to live confidently at home in the community they love.
